Jena, June 27, 2022 – Laser pioneer biolitec® has expanded its ELVeS® Radial® family with another unique laser fiber: With the ELVeS® Radial® 2ring swift fiber (distal cap only 1.5 mm in diameter), both larger truncal veins and smaller side branches and perforating veins can be treated with up to 12 watts without having to change the fiber. This simplifies the procedure considerably, especially when treating complicated vein courses.
The possibility of direct puncture using a 14GA cannula keeps the puncture site small, resulting in even better esthetic results. A smaller size can also be used when using an ordinary introducer set: 5Fr is sufficient here and can replace 6Fr.
With the LEONARDO® laser and the versatile ELVeS® Radial® laser fiber family from biolitec®, all types of veins and severity of varicosis can be treated comprehensively.
